Flying In?

If you are arriving into the Kansas City area by air, you should arrive into the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) by May 22nd. You will then overnight per your own arrangements in Kansas City and arrange transportation to the route launch point where our journey begins.

Flying home you will catch a flight out on or after May 27th after overnighting per your own arrangements.

Keep in mind that we did not include hotel rooms before or after the journey in our pricing because many of the participants are local, or staying a different amount of days before or after the journey.

COVID-19 Considerations

Your safety and wellbeing are very important to us! At the time of this writing (April 2023), there are no requirements for vaccination or masks on this journey, but if you have a personal situation requiring extra care, you should make sure you have several masks with you just in case! We will have rapid COVID tests on hand in case anyone has reason to suspect their own health condition.

If you’re concerned about rooming with someone who has made a different vaccination or testing choice that could affect your health, please let us know your needs in the pre-event forms and we’ll do our best to prepare so as to support your involvement in this outdoor activity.
